So it's been a while since I've posted a sweet saving money blog, but I'm back, and going to try posting more now, so people can actually READ this!! We've been having some budget issues due to car insurance bills and hospital bills (new motto=RELAX!!), so my grocery shopping hasn't been too exciting. That combined w/the fact that the boy and I decided we only have 10 months til our wedding and really need to start getting back on the eating healthy train!! Therefore last month we only spent about $200 on groceries, and didn't save as much as I have in previous months (In June I saved 47%!!) But thats ok, because...
*We spent over $100 less on groceries than we did the month before, AND
*I bought things that were *GASP* not on sale!! Which was exciting, because the boy and I went through my healthy cookbook and picked out lots of healthy meals that we are going to make!! I mean, if something was a ridiculous price and I had no coupon, then I passed, because we didn't need it that bad. But this gives us way more options for healthy breakfast/lunch/dinner instead of pizza rolls cuz they were on sale, lol.
So in the next few months, I might not be saving a ridiculous amount on groceries like I have been the rest of this year. But hopefully I will be dropping some pounds!!
